The 12 Dates of Christmas — A New Holiday Romance for Your Countdown Until Christmas
Hallmark is bringing another festive gift to this year’s Countdown Until Christmas lineup, and fans of cozy love stories, English villages, and charming holiday matchmaking will be in for a treat. Premiering Friday, December 5 at 8/7c, The 12 Dates of Christmas brings together heartfelt family moments, unexpected romance, and all the warm sparkle that makes Hallmark Christmas movies a seasonal tradition.
Perfect for viewers who love Hallmark, Great American Family holiday programming, and the entire magic of the countdown to Christmas, this new film fits right into the cozy spirit of the season.
A Festive British Village, a Lovable Heroine, and Twelve Chances at Love
Kate, a talented Savile Row textile pattern designer, lives in the quiet, postcard-perfect village of Blexford, England. Her life revolves around her work and caring for her father, Mac—who is recovering from a motorbike accident and has settled a little too comfortably into his recliner.
Kate’s world is steady… maybe a little too steady.
That’s when her best friend Laura secretly signs her up for “The 12 Dates of Christmas”, a magical matchmaking program designed to bring holiday cheer—and maybe a little romance—through twelve charming, curated seasonal experiences.
With encouragement from Laura and her lifelong friend Callum, Kate reluctantly steps into the program—only to discover that one of her dates sparks a long-dormant excitement for life and love.
Holiday Surprises, Family Complications, and Romance All Around
Just as Kate begins to embrace the Christmas romance unfolding before her, her spirited mother Delilah suddenly arrives—quite literally on her doorstep. A globe-trotter with a flair for the unexpected, Delilah shakes up both Kate’s routine and her relationship with Mac.
Meanwhile, Mac finds himself pulled into his own blossoming connection with Evelyn, a warmhearted widow who slowly draws him back into the world outside his recliner and helps him rediscover joy.
As Kate moves through her twelve dates, she finds more than holiday romance—she uncovers truths about herself, her family, and what she truly wants for her future.
