Hallmark Channels Countdown to Christmas Schedule
From the last weekend in October until January 1st, Hallmark Channel runs the seasonal block called Countdown to Christmas, featuring a mix of holiday movies, specials and holiday-themed original programming. Countdown to Christmas officially began in 2009, while the channel’s first holiday original movie was aired in 2000. Since 2012, the network hasc also held a “Christmas in July” event with airings of previous movies. In February 2019, it was announced that in honor of the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Countdown to Christmas event, the channel would air selections of movies on Friday nights throughout the year. “Christmas Fridays” on Hallmark is continuing in 2025.
