A Biltmore Christmas (2023): Cast, Plot & Where to Watch

A Biltmore Christmas is a 2023 Hallmark Channel original with a time-travel twist and a real showstopper of a setting: the actual Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Part romance, part old-Hollywood mystery, it is one of the most talked-about Hallmark films in recent years. Here is the cast, the story, and how to watch.

What A Biltmore Christmas Is About

Lucy Hardgrove is a screenwriter who lands the job of a lifetime: writing the remake of a beloved holiday classic, “His Merry Wife!”, originally filmed in 1947 at the historic Biltmore House. When the studio head rejects her new ending for straying from the original’s feel-good finish, he sends Lucy to the Biltmore Estate for inspiration. While there, she discovers that an antique hourglass can transport her back to the 1947 set of the film. Lucy seizes the chance to uncover the truth behind the movie’s original ending, and grows close to Jack Huston, one of its stars, but her sudden appearance sets off a chain of events that threatens the production, and the future. Before she can return to the present, she has to set things right.
