A Heidelberg Holiday (2023): Cast, Plot & Where to Watch
A Heidelberg Holiday is a 2023 Hallmark Channel original that trades the usual small-town square for a storybook German Christmas market. It is a warm, travel-flavored romance about art, heritage, and second chances, and it is easy to catch again this season. Here is the full rundown on the cast, the story, and how to watch.
What A Heidelberg Holiday Is About
Heidi is a glass artist who lands a dream invitation: a booth to sell her handmade ornaments at the famous Christmas market in Heidelberg, Germany. Once she arrives, a local artisan named Lukas takes her under his wing, and as the market lights up she finds herself reconnecting with the heritage she had drifted away from, and falling for the place and the person showing it to her.
The European setting gives the film a richer backdrop than most, and the movie even features an original song, “This Christmas,” written and performed by Ingrid Michaelson especially for the production.
Cast
- Ginna Claire Mason as Heidi, the glass-ornament artist
- Frederic Brossier as Lukas, the local artisan who becomes her guide
