Distraught, Ella takes to the water at night in her schooner to clear her head. After witnessing a comet streak across the sky, she’s startled to discover Nick (Wes Brown), a local sailor and historian, aboard her boat—whom she initially accuses of being a stowaway.
But Nick insists he owns the schooner, and through the struggle they inadvertently shift through time, and Ella finds herself in 2025. As she adapts to the modern world and grows close to Nick, she’s torn about returning to her own era. The longer she stays, though, the more she risks altering both her legacy in 1905 and the future of Newport’s history. When she makes the decision to journey back, what she finds awaiting her might be more surprising than she ever expected.
