What to Expect This July
According to Great American Media, this year’s “Christmas in July” programming is more than just cozy classics — it’s a love letter to the fans who adore heartwarming stories rooted in faith, family, and the true spirit of Christmas. With nearly 100 original holiday movies produced in just four years, Great American Family is delivering a joyful mix of favorites, behind-the-scenes peeks, and previews of what’s to come in their milestone 5th anniversary season.

GAC Family (formerly Great American Country) launched September 2021 under the tagline “Stories Well Told” featuring family-friendly series, original holiday movies and seasonal romcoms that celebrate faith, family and country. The networks holiday lineup “Great American Christmas” premiered the same year. In July of 2022, GAC Media (which concurrently changed its trade name to Great American Media) announced that GAC Family would be slightly rebranded as Great American Family (GAF) on August 20, 2022.
