Great American Christmas 2026: Movies, Stars & Schedule
Great American Christmas is back for a sixth season, and the 2026 slate has grown to fifteen announced titles. The network leans hard on the faces that built it, hands Candace Cameron Bure both a starring role and a producer credit, brings back a couple of titles fans have been waiting on, and adds a Karen Kingsbury adaptation with a genuinely starry cast. Here is everything announced so far, plus the premiere dates that are locked in.

One programming note up front: Great American Family has confirmed the event returns to air in October, and four films now have firm dates. The rest of the calendar is still to come. When the full day-by-day premiere schedule and the printable guide are released, they go up on our Great American Family Christmas hub. Until then, our daily Christmas movie schedule tracks what is airing today and this week.

The 2026 Great American Christmas Movies
Fifteen titles are confirmed heading into the season:
- One More Christmas, with Candace Cameron Bure and Jonathan Scarfe
- Home Sweet Anniversary, with Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison, the third film in the Home Sweet series
- An Accidental Arctic Christmas, with Cameron Mathison and Jill Wagner
- Christmas at The Starlight, with Mario Lopez, Tony Danza, and Taylor Kalupa
- Christmas at Moose Lake, with Britt Robertson and Ryan Paevey
- Silver Bells at Christmas, with Laura Osnes and Ryan McPartlin
- A Very Evergreen Christmas, with Katie Leclerc and Jeremy Guilbaut
- Christmas Wrapped in Love, with Cindy Busby and Marcus Rosner
- The Christmas Yes List, with Danica McKellar and Sam Page, adapted from the Melissa Ferguson novel
- A Christmas Prayer 2, with Shae Robins and Christopher Russell, a sequel to last season’s fan favorite
- Christmas By the Spoonful, with Laura Vandervoort, Olivier Renaud, Ilan O’Driscoll, and Holly Bridges
- Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring, with Jana Kramer, Ben Hollingsworth, Kelsey Grammer, Megan Ashley Brown, and Jessie James Decker
- A Christmas Rescue, with Trevor Donovan and Stephanie Bennett
- The Greatest Christmas Gift, with Danica McKellar and Matthew Marsden
- The Ornament Library, with Merritt Patterson and Ryan Paevey
Two of the biggest draws are the returning franchises. Home Sweet Anniversary keeps the Bure and Mathison partnership going, and A Christmas Prayer 2 gives one of 2025’s most-watched GAF movies a follow-up. The Christmas Ring is the swing, though: nearly one hundred retired and active military members appear in it as background actors, and Kelsey Grammer joins the cast opposite Jana Kramer.
Familiar Stars, Front and Center
If there is a theme to 2026, it is loyalty to the bench. Candace Cameron Bure, Cameron Mathison, Danica McKellar, Trevor Donovan, Jill Wagner, and Cindy Busby all return, and each has a tag page here that rounds up every Christmas movie they have made.
The newcomers and crossovers are worth watching too. Jana Kramer and Kelsey Grammer headline The Christmas Ring, Merritt Patterson returns for The Ornament Library, and Ryan Paevey pulls double duty with both The Ornament Library and Christmas at Moose Lake. Danica McKellar also has two films on the slate this year.
When Does Great American Christmas 2026 Start?
Great American Media has confirmed the sixth annual Great American Christmas returns to air in October. The network has not published the full opening-weekend calendar yet, but the first dated premiere is Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring, streaming November 5 and airing November 7. As soon as the network confirms the rest of the calendar, we will post it, along with the downloadable guide, on the GAF Christmas hub.
