Ever notice every Hallmark Christmas movie follows the same cozy formula: the big-city career woman, the small-town love interest, the tree lighting, the big misunderstanding? Now you can make your own. Star yourself and a co-star (or two of the network’s biggest names), get a title, a plot, and a downloadable movie poster to share.
Never miss a Christmas movie. Get the weekly Hallmark and Great American Family premiere lineup delivered to your inbox.
How the Hallmark Movie Generator Works
Type your name (and a co-star if you want one), or hit Cast the stars to pull two of the network’s biggest names. Click Generate and you get a movie title, a cast, and a full plot in the classic Hallmark formula: the big-city career, the small-town return, the local love interest, the thing that needs saving before Christmas Eve, the snowed-in night, the big misunderstanding, and the kiss in the snow. Download the poster or share it straight to Facebook, Pinterest, or your group text.
Movies This Thing Has Already Made
Here are two real results, straight from the generator:
Christmas in Pinecrest, starring Danica McKellar and Christopher Russell. An ambitious architect reluctantly returns home to Evergreen Falls, where a snowed-in stranger with a great smile is waiting. When the historic bakery is weeks from closing, the two team up before Christmas Eve.
Cabins and Mistletoe, starring Lacey Chabert and Cameron Mathison. A big-city ad executive is sent to shut down a beloved shop in Bell Harbor, where the local veterinarian has other ideas. A decades-old family secret resurfaces, and of course a kiss in the snow saves the day.
Yours will be different. Every movie pulls from dozens of towns, careers, love interests, and crises, so you can generate as many as you want.
Every Hallmark Trope, Guaranteed
Small town with a festive name. A woman who works too much. A man who owns a tree farm, an inn, or a bakery. A late parent’s legacy. A tree lighting, a cookie contest, or a Christmas Eve gala. A snowstorm that strands everyone. One misunderstanding that a single honest conversation would fix. And a kiss under falling snow. Hallmark Movie Generator FAQ
Is the Hallmark Movie Generator free?
Yes. Generate as many movies as you like, download every poster, and share them anywhere. No sign-up required.
Can I put my own name and photo in the movie?
Yes. Choose Star yourself, type your name and an optional co-star, and add a photo if you want it on the poster. Leave the co-star blank and we cast your love interest for you.
Are the actors real Hallmark stars?
When you choose Cast the stars, the generator picks from actors who have headlined Hallmark and Great American Family Christmas movies, like Lacey Chabert, Danica McKellar, Cameron Mathison, and Christopher Russell.
Is this an official Hallmark tool?
No. Countdown Until Christmas is an independent fan site. This is a parody game inspired by the movies we all watch every November and December.
How do I share my movie poster?
On a phone, tap Share My Poster to send the actual poster image through any app. On desktop, download the poster and attach it, or use the Facebook, X, Pinterest, and WhatsApp buttons to share the page.
Why does every plot sound the same?
That is the joke. The formula is the whole reason we love these movies.
When do the real Hallmark Christmas movies start?
Hallmark Countdown to Christmas typically kicks off in late October. Check our Christmas movie schedule for tonight's listings and the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas 2026 page for the full lineup.
