Merry Liddle Christmas Vacation (2024)
Movie Summary
MOVIE UPDATE: Despite the initial announcement of a fourth installment in the “Liddle Christmas” series for the holiday season, it appears plans for “Merry Liddle Christmas Vacation” have been cancelled due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
We are hopeful it will be released in 2024.
Grammy Winner Kelly Rowland is set to star and executive produce the fourth installment of her holiday movie franchise with “Merry Liddle Christmas Vacation” as a tentpole film for this year’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday slate.
This holiday season, the Liddle family is back together again, and ready to spend the holidays at a beautiful resort. Hoping to create new Christmas traditions, the Liddles are gathered to celebrate Jacquie and Tyler’s wedding anniversary and the twins’ birthday. But their holiday vacation is far from paradise with tensions mounting with Jacquie feeling Tyler is prioritizing his work over their family. Meanwhile Treena and Julian struggle to balance time with each other as Kiara and Chris navigate raising Kiara’s son. Marchelle and Wade are determined to keep Liddle Christmas traditions alive, even far from their homes, and despite the chaos of the season, the Liddles find a deeper understanding of each other, and all their small blessings complete their big Liddle family.
Merry Liddle Christmas Vacation is produced by MarVista Entertainment for Lifetime. Kelly Rowland, Larry Grimaldi, Ani Kevork, Hannah Pillemer, Fernando Szew and Loretha Jones will serve as executive producers. The script is written by Andrea Stevens and King Hassan and a search is underway for a director.

- Merry Liddle Christmas (2019)

When is Lifetime or MarVista going to air Merry Liddle Christmas Vacation? I have watched all three of the franchise movies many, many times. The story line is such we can all relate, but most importantly the characters aren’t acting crazy which some movies tend to depict black people. This cast has very good chemistry in working together. Love the movies!!!!!
I’ve read that MLCV was to be released during the holiday season of 2024. What happened?
Maybe someone needs to contact Oprah to purchase the rights to air all four movies on her network. Others who have enjoyed the movies maybe we should start a petition to air the fourth installment of this franchise. My vote is to release this movie for the 2026 holiday season
