My Christmas Cowboy (2026): Cast, Story, and What to Expect

If you like your holiday movies with a little less tinsel and a lot more boots, My Christmas Cowboy may be the 2026 title to watch. Amy Acker and Luke Macfarlane star.

A Different Kind of Christmas

Instead of a snowy village, this one trades in ranch life for a slower, more lived-in take on the season. It is the change-of-pace entry among the first six 2026 announcements, and the Acker and Macfarlane pairing gives it real star power.

The Cast

Luke Macfarlane spent years as one of Hallmark’s most bankable leads before branching out, so his name on a Countdown title is a draw on its own. Amy Acker brings a deep resume of her own. Character details are still to come.

When to Watch

My Christmas Cowboy premieres during Hallmark Channel’s 2026 Countdown to Christmas, which runs from late October through the holidays. No specific date yet. Catch it on Hallmark Channel and streaming on Hallmark+.
