When a surprise water line break shuts down Temple Beth Am just before Hanukkah celebrations, the congregation suddenly has nowhere to gather. Thankfully, St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church—sitting right across the street—opens its doors without hesitation.
With the final night of Hanukkah landing on Christmas Eve, a rare overlap, both faith leaders decide that this year calls for something extraordinary: a joint service. To bring the night to life, the church’s youth choir director Nikki Roberts (D’Orsay) is asked to team up with Jake Cohen (Epstein), the substitute youth choir director from the temple.
There’s just one problem—they’ve been competitive high-school rivals for years.
Rivalry Meets Holiday Harmony
Forced to merge their choirs and collaborate on one combined music program, Nikki and Jake enter the partnership with their competitive streaks fully intact. Each wants their choir to shine, and neither is particularly thrilled about old memories resurfacing.
