Holiday Ever After: Hallmark’s Disney World Christmas Movie 2026

Picture Lacey Chabert making a wish at the Cinderella Fountain with the castle lit up behind her, and you already understand why this one feels different from the usual Hallmark December. Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True is the first movie Hallmark Channel and Walt Disney World have ever made together, and after seventeen years of the Countdown to Christmas, that is not a small thing. Two of the biggest names in holiday comfort finally sharing a set, at the most famous December backdrop on the planet.

Now we have the date. The movie premieres Saturday, November 28 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, then lands on Hallmark+ the very next day if you would rather stream it on your own schedule.

Why this pairing is a genuine first

Hallmark and Disney occupying the same room felt almost impossible for years. Both networks built entire holiday empires on their own terms, so a co-production between them reads like a crossover fans traded as a fantasy rather than something that would actually happen. It did happen. Real Walt Disney World locations, the parks dressed for the season, and Hallmark’s storytelling wrapped around all of it. If you grew up splitting your Decembers between a Disney trip and a stack of Hallmark movies, this is the rare film built for exactly that overlap.

The story

Lindsey (Lacey Chabert) brings her whole extended family to Walt Disney World for the kind of big, warm Christmas you plan for months. The trip goes sideways almost immediately when she realizes the room next door belongs to Philip (Travis Van Winkle), a first date that went so badly she hoped never to see him again. He is there with his own family, their paths keep crossing all over the resort, and the more time they spend circling each other, the more the frost between them starts to melt.

Then there is the wish. Lindsey tosses one into the Cinderella Fountain, and with a little of that Disney World magic doing the heavy lifting, the guy she could not stand starts looking a lot more like the guy she was hoping to find. It is a rivals-to-romance setup with a fairy-tale thumb pressing gently on the scale, which is a fitting way to spend Hallmark’s first trip through the parks.

Who you’ll recognize

Chabert needs no introduction to anyone who has watched more than a couple of these. She is Hallmark’s most dependable leading lady, and dropping her into Disney World is the kind of casting that sells itself. Travis Van Winkle plays Philip, the disastrous-first-date-turned-something-more.

Around them is a deeper bench than these movies usually get. Richard Kind brings decades of scene-stealing comedy. Christy Carlson Romano, a Disney Channel kid a lot of us grew up with, is a nice full-circle touch for a Disney co-production. Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander round out the two families whose vacation plans keep colliding.

When and where to watch

Mark Saturday, November 28 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel. If you miss the live premiere or you simply cannot wait through commercials, Hallmark+ has it starting the next day. That late-November slot puts it right in the thick of the season, a strong anchor for the weekend once the Countdown is running at full speed.

For everything else Hallmark and Great American Family are bringing this year, our 2026 Christmas movie preview keeps both networks side by side, and our rundown of the 17th Countdown to Christmas covers the rest of the Hallmark slate.

A castle, a fountain wish, and two families forced to share a hallway. Seventeen seasons in, Hallmark just handed us the collaboration a lot of us gave up on ever seeing, and it arrives right when the December schedule needs a movie worth planning the night around.
